Our Story
We were establised in 2018 by Ian Mangenga, who started out by hosting digital skills training workshops and bootcamps for women and girls in Johannesburg. This soon evolved into a movement on a mission to make the African digital economy more accessible and inclusive for everyone, especially women.
From our inception, our commitment has been to reduce the digital gender gap by empowering women with the necessary digital skills, resources, and tools to thrive online. Our recent expansion into research and advocacy enables us to make a greater impact towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals of Quality Education (Goal 4), Gender Equality (Goal 5), and Decent Work and Economic Growth (Goal 8).
